At Norome we present you with multiple crater lake activities, including kayak, canoes, and sailing expeditions. A guided kayak trip will take you to discover Lake Apoyo’s healing thermal springs in the morning while our sunset sailing tours will show you the unique blend of colors that our extinct crater landscape can produce.

In the slopes that surround Norome Villas, we have built trails designed to take you to the heart of Norome Nature Reserve.

You will spot howler monkeys and various native birds as well as learn about the rich biodiversity of this tropical dry forest while enjoying spectacular lake views. At night, our fantastic nature reserve night tour will reveal to you unique species hidden from the human eye during the day. The night entertainment program is full of surprises ranging from movies projection to dance contest events.

Local tours include a trip to the eastern coast of Lake Apoyo with unspoiled volcanic beaches, a guided hiking tour all the way to nearby towns of Catarina and San Juan de Oriente and horseback riding tours in nearby Haciendas.
